A scorching hot day in Limousin, France, visiting parents-in-law. I managed to find this spot in the shade of some trees, where I thought the gorse, bracken and those conifers made a nice composition. Done in my 3-colour palette of Winsor Blue (red shade), Indian Red and Raw Umber. Good for painting in such heat, as using only three blobs of paint means you can keep them all alive and moist!
