Painted whilst teaching my Spring course at Dedham Hall. This was about the only cloudy morning we had all week, but I was honestly glad. I like such moods just as much as sunny atmospheres. Tide fully out at the point I settled on and drew out the composition, and during the painting process it got half way to my easel. The river edge/mud is very flat here.
