Painted as a demonstration, initially for my blog subscribers, now available to see on Youtube. I used a few photos as a basis for this, one of an evening cloud/light effect and another of the general scene taken around mid day at the location. As usual I combined aspects of these references along with a sizable dose of artistic licence, amending aspects of the subjects, composition and mood to make the painting.
