The golf clubhouse is an interestingly shaped building, and makes an obvious feature or focal point for painting if visiting Brancaster or Brancaster beach. There are also great views towards it from along the sand dunes. And a big sky, of course. I sometimes visit this location to paint with students on my BIG SKY ART courses. Even the telegraph poles have character here, so I decided to make one of those quite key to the composition too!
