A challenging wind came with this painting. A very exposed spot on Bristol's harbourside, with gusts that knocked over the easels of some of the other painters I was with at the time. One of those where your arm is continually getting blown even as you try to put brush to paper, so, considering this and on reflection some time later, I thought the result had captured something of the atmosphere.
