One of those spots where I made sure of asking permission to set up my easel. A busy farmland road on the far edge of a village, pretty muddy around too. I didn't want to be in the middle of a herd of cows half way through! The farm workers were very helpful, even offering to move the tractor to a better spot! So, it was in front of the barn door and I requested it be reversed to where you see it here. After I'd finished, the farmer showed me inside a very old traditional farmyard area. It's not common to find such old characterful farm buildings where you can actually get a good view of them from a public spot. Not close to where I live anyway.
