I was asked to attend a plein air painting event in Gloucester, and to be a competition judge in the evening. Based around the cathedral, I preferred this view in front of the cathedral, rather than any composition I could get behind me, actually looking towards the huge building from so close up. That corner building looks all wrong, but it was all wrong! A funny arrangement of old bits of buildings sort of built into each other in an odd way.
