Inspired by the great old trees to be found along the river Stour near Dedham Hall and Flatford Mill. I have used some artistic licence here, to include Dedham church in the scene. Although it features in the background from many spots along this stretch of the river I couldn't quite find a spot where it lined up as I wanted it to for the composition. Not without getting into the river anyway!
