My first plein air outing of the year, I remember well, as it was early February and unseasonably warm weather. In fact it got up to about 19 or 20 degrees in the afternoon, which was frankly quite concerning. Anyway, I began this when the sun was still very low, and it was coming through mist, which never really lifted all day. Dundry is on a high hill just south of Bristol. So the sun really lit up the mist, almost from below, creating a really interesting effect which I felt I managed to capture quite well.
