A field of awesome, statuesque old trees, mostly willows I think, with perhaps the rare black poplar. I've visited to paint or take photos of these trees from different angles and in different seasons, several times over the years, and don't tire of it. The field is by the river Avon, and there's a great winter walk along this stretch from Saltford to Keynsham, and then the bus home.
