An unusual and slightly eerie location, on the Severn estuary at Portishead. My first visit down onto the coast at Portishead when the tide was out, and an interesting place it is. Distinctive black rocks, lots of silt on lower rocks, no people around, a few coastal birds... And a great view with bits of coastline/headland lining up to the southwest and Flat Holm island on the distant right.
