A stumbled upon this fantastic view whilst driving country lanes searching for exactly this. Just a peak over a gap in a hedge initially, but after finding a layby and walking back I discovered it was one of the best views for miles around. This painting is very cold in atmosphere, and I'll probably tackle a similar composition in a warmer season in future - hopefully en plein air.
