A quick painting trying to capture the afternoon light/clouds in that moment. Done with barely a line of pencil drawing, to see how that would turn out, too! That odd boat bottom-left really was a very stubby shaped vessel, the like of which I've personally never seen on water. This was a place next to a working boat yard at Uphill, near Weston-Super-Mare, where many old boats of different types had been left/abandoned perhaps for many decaded in some cases. Some interesting subjects as a consequence.
